the normal armanet for this mech is 1 laser and a couple of SRM Packs. i preffer to pull one or two of those SRM Packs and toss a large pulse in or LRM or a pulse laser or two. those SRM won't last forever. and the ammo could explode if the storage bin is hit. those pulse lasers will give it a much better hitting power then the lasers or SRMs. The Commando is a rather useful mech when confronted by other light mechs if you have a nice hard hitting combonation. Missles and other ammo based weapons are good on lighter mechs. these light mechs are not able to withstand any engagment long enough to run low on ammo unless its force outnumbers the enemeys.

This is a very verstile light mech. But in my opion those Heavy Flamers need to go. Instead Pop in 4 C/Pulse Lasers if you have them in inventory. these will do the same amount of damage in the same time while costing less. Thats the only change i have for the A/J variant. But for the W variant i suggest you take out that PPC caus it can't be fired at any range less then medium and the firestarter is a mech capable of getting in close hitting and then getting out again fast. so toss on a 2 C/Streak SRM Packs for the real up close punch and a SRM Pack to finish up that deadly combo. Yeah that leaves you an ammo based mech but at this weight your mech shouldn't be involved or used as a main mech killer in an engagment big enough to use all that ammo.
